Hi all, I have a strange issue, and feel it _could_ be a mrxvt issue.
Info: Slackware 12.1 Fluxbox (cvs version) WM Latest svn mrxvt If you are unaware, Slackware uses a 'package tools system' with 'pkgtool' being a menu driven bash script system - scene shot here: http://www.slackware.com/config/packages.php pkgtool can be got from latest Slackware source here: http://ftp.lanet.lv/ftp/mirror/Slackware/source/a/pkgtools/ if you wish to see the code. Now my issue is this. When I first startx and use pkgtool for the first time, all appears to function normally until I exit the application... then mrxvt screen goes completely black with the cursor at the top left of the screen. Then, everytime I go to use pkgtool, I ALWAYS get the black screen from then on after, until I restart X again. If I run xterm, pkgtool works OK. If I jump across to a virtual console, again pkgtool works OK. UPDATE! I just found when mrxvt is in this 'blank state with cursor at top left', if I resize the terminal window via mouse window dragging, the menu appears and I can navigate the menu UNTIL I select an option, then I get the black screen again with cursor to left. Resizing again makes the menu appear etc. etc. I have run mrxvt in debug mode via gdb, but no output on this. I have run pkgtool in the 'script' program', but that just reports exactly what pkgtool does (correctly). I build mrxvt with this line: ./configure --enable-everything --disable-debug --disable-jpeg --disable-png --disable-next-scroll --disable-xterm-scroll --disable-plain-scroll --disable-sgi-scroll --disable-greek --disable-cjk --disable-menubar --disable-utempter --disable-mouseslipwheel --disable-transparency --disable-selectionscrolling --disable-keepscrolling --prefix=/usr And help on this issue would be appreciated.
